Winter has rolled around again, meaning that it is definitely time to dig out the woollens and get wrapped up. Finding the perfect winter jacket to keep out the cold is also important. Luckily, with the range of womenâs jackets available this season, it is easy to find something that combines both function and fashion, meaning you can stay warm without sacrificing your style.
A huge fashion hit, the military-inspired look is one of the key trends to watch out for this year. Coming in all shapes and forms, a lot of the designers have been influenced by this style. As a result, there are a number of military jackets to choose from, complete with braided detailing, big buttons and oversized collars.
Faux fur has also appeared in a number of the designer collections. Great for completing a stylish outfit, the faux fur jacket should be teamed with skinny jeans and sky high heels for maximum effect. It can also look great when paired with an elegant evening dress.

Embellishment is also big and, as such, anything with zips, pockets and patterns is going to be a good bet. Just remember not to go overboard and drown out the rest of your outfit with too much detailing.
While there are a number of enticing jackets available, the price tags attached to them are often not so inviting. However, with many of the high street stores and supermarkets bringing out the key trends quickly, it is possible to find a jacket that is both fashionable and affordable.
Consequently, whether you are on a budget or simply donât want to spend an arm and a leg on your fashion, it is easy to find an inexpensive, trendy jacket for the winter.
