		<description>ChloriNe is a poison gas.  A chloriDe, like you used, is a salt.  In fact, you probably tested sodium chloride, common table salt.  You don&#039;t need a mask to be around it, even when it is heated.</description>

But none of the compounds you tested were chlorine gas were they? No, they were compounds that had atoms of chlorine somewhere in their molecular structures. Not the same thing at all... Look up ordinary table salt some time. Exactly half of the atoms in it are chlorine atoms, butno-one in their right mind would confuse table salt with chlorine gas, would they?</description>
